Soul's Local TV Schedule Announced

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Soul announced Tuesday that six games will air locally on Comcast SportsNet. This is in addition to the five nationally televised games the team has on ESPN2 and ESPN2HD.

The Soul's local broadcast schedule begins on March 16 when they host the New York Dragons. Game time is 2 p.m. but the broadcast will be delayed, starting at 7 p.m. (et) and will be in high definition.

The Soul's next game will also be broadcast on Comcast SportsNet, as the Soul travel to Los Angeles to face the Avengers. Game time is 10:30 p.m. (et).

Here is a list of all games broadcast on Comcast SportsNet:

- Sunday, March 16 vs. New York 2 p.m. (game will air at 7 p.m. (et)) HD.

- Thursday, March 20 at Los Angeles Avengers at 10:30 p.m. (et)

- Saturday, April 5 vs. Utah Blaze 7 p.m. (will air at 10:30 p.m. (et))

- Saturday, April 12 at San Jose SaberCats at 10:30 p.m. (et)

- Saturday, May 17 vs. Columbus Destroyers at 7 p.m. (et)

- Saturday, June 14 vs. Cleveland Gladiators at 7 p.m. (et) HD.

The Philadelphia Soul (2-0), YOUR Team...YOUnited, continues the 2008 season at home against the New York Dragons on Sunday, March 16 at 2 p.m. (et). The first 10,000 fans to the game will receive a Soulmates poster courtesy of Suncoast Mortgage. The game can be seen tape delayed on Comcast SportsNet and can be heard live locally on Sports Radio 950 and on the web at www.sr950.com.

The Soul are celebrating their fifth anniversary this season. The team has drawn an AFL-best 514,226 fans combined during the past four years. Following last season, the Soul were recognized with the Commissioner's Award as the Organization of the Year and were an honorable mention for the PRISM Award in the category of fan appreciation.
