Philadelphia Soul News Release
SOUL STAY PERFECT - UNDEFEATED DALLAS IS NEXT
The Philadelphia Soul remained undefeated with a 76-55 win over the Columbus Destroyers at Nationwide Arena on Monday night. The Soul exchanged TDs with the Destroyers before going ahead for good with three straight TDs that bridged the second and third quarters. The win sets up arguably the biggest regular-season match up in AFL history, as the 7-0 Dallas Desperados visit the 8-0 Soul next Monday, April 28 for an 8 p.m. (et) kickoff. The game be seen on ESPN2 and ESPN2HD and can be heard on 950 ESPN and on-line at www.950ESPN.com.
GRAZIANI RETURNS - THEN DEPARTS
QB Tony Graziani returned from a four-game absence due to a sprained left knee, starting for the first time since going down in Week 3. However, he was forced to leave the game in the second quarter when he tweaked his injured knee and did not return. Graziani will be evaluated later this week and his playing status for next week's game against Dallas is day-to-day.
CHRIS JACKSON - ENOUGH SAID
Soul wide receiver Chris Jackson set the franchise's single-season receiving TD mark during Monday's 76-55 win. In just half the time it took Steve Smith in 2005, Jackson recorded his 29th TD catch. Smith ended the 2005 season with 28. With eight more regular-season games remaining, Jackson is on pace to end the season with 57 touchdown catches. With just three more touchdowns this season, Jackson will set another franchise mark - this one being most TDs in a season (also held by Smith with 31 in 2005).
OH YEAH, SOME MORE ON JACKSON
Jackson ended Monday's game with seven catches for 64 yards and three TDs and moved within two TDs of becoming just the third player in AFL history to hit the 300 receiving TD mark. Earlier this season, Jackson became just the fourth player in league history to surpass 12,000 receiving yards and fifth player in league history to surpass 900 career receptions.
MATT D. PROVIDNG THE "O"
Matt D'Orazio came in to relieve the injured Tony Graziani on Monday and continued his stellar play, ending the game 15-of-19 for 167 yards with five TDs and no interceptions. He also ran for a score for the Soul, who went 4-0 with D'Orazio under center with Graziani out with a knee injury. D'Orazio, playing in front of family and friends in Columbus, now has thrown for 1,496 yards and 31 TDs with just two picks this season, completing 129-of-189 passes.
WHERE WE AT? DON'T KNOW YET
The Soul's game against Dallas on Monday, April 28 at 8 p.m. is tentatively scheduled for the Wachovia Spectrum, but that could change depending on arena availability. Visit www.philadelphiasoul.com daily to see if the game will be moved to the Wachovia Center.
TOUGH STRETCH
The undefeated Soul improved to 2-0 during a stretch in which the team plays four of five on the road. Philly began the stretch with a win in San Jose in Week 7 and continued the streak with the win in Columbus. After hosting Dallas, the Soul travel to face Cleveland and Georgia.

The win gives the Soul a 4-0 away record for the season
