NEW YORK - The Arena Football League averaged 14,080 fans per game during Week 8, the highest since 2005 and the fifth-highest in League history. It is also the second highest all-time for a Week 8.

The Tampa Bay Storm posted the highest attendance figure of Week 8 with 17,104 fans for its matchup against the New York Dragons. The Chicago Rush sold out its contest against the Grand Rapids Rampage with 16,112 fans in attendance.

The 2008 season's eight-week cumulative average of 12,954 ranks second all-time, is up six percent vs. 2007's eight-week cumulative average of 12,192, and is up four percent vs. the 2007 season-ending average of 12,415.
