Orlando Predators News Release
Orlando - When the Philadelphia Soul take on the Dallas Desperados Monday night April 28th in the Russell Athletic ESPN game, there will be a few names Florida college football fans will recognize. Philly's roster has three guys from the Sunshine State on their roster...DB Dee Webb (UF), OL Martin Bibla (UM) and the University of Central Florida's own Mike Mabry (OL).
Mabry is in his second season with the Soul and started all 16 games for them in 2007 and was named to the AFL's All-Arena Second Team. He also spent some time in the NFL. In 2004 he was signed by the Falcons to their practice squad, was released after training camp in 2005 and was then signed briefly by the Cleveland Browns in 2006 before finding his way to the AFL via Philadelphia.
Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. on ESPN2, which is Bright House Channel 30 in Orlando.
The Orlando Predators host the Tampa Bay Storm for the 2008 version of The War on I-4 Saturday at the Jungle with kickoff set for 7:30.
