Beloit and South Bend split their four games series. Beloit won game one and game three and South Bend took games two and four. South Bend blanked the Snappers 8-0 today. Alexander Smit took the loss, dropping to 1-6 on the season. South Bend scored twice in the second inning, once in the fourth, twice in the sixth, once in the seventh and twice more in the ninth. Beloit was out hit 13-6. Beloit had chances to score with the bases loaded twice, but came up empty both times.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers host Cedar Rapids Monday, May 23 through Thursday May 26 at Pohlman Field.
