Snappers and Bees Finale Rained Out, Cancelled

Beloit, WI - The Beloit Snappers (63-61, 31-24) and Burlington Bees (47-75, 17-36) series finale at Pohlman Field, scheduled for 7:00 p.m, was washed out Monday night and cancelled.

The game was delayed one hour and 35 minutes prior to the announcement. Since this is the last regular season meeting between the two teams, the game cannot be made up.

Snappers right-hander Bryce Conley was scheduled to go against the Bees right-hander Oliver Ortega.

Tuesday will be the start of a three-game series with the Cedar Rapids Kernels at Pohlman Field at 7:00 p.m.

It's the annual Pohlman Field Snappers Deck Party. The Snappers invite their fans, media and local business out to an all you can eat party for $40 for person, with all proceeds will go to the Pohlman Field improvement fund.

It's also a Working-Class special, where fans can enjoy a general admission ticket and a Brat Basket for just $10.19 from your friends at 101.9 Iron Country Radio.
