
Smokies Welcome Jackson for Five Game Set

KODAK - The Tennessee Smokies continue the second half of their ten-game homestand by welcoming the Jackson Generals, the Double-A affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, into town for a five-game series. Join us at Smokies Stadium starting Monday, April 14 for a series that includes Low Fare Monday, Thirsty Thursday and caps with a blast in Fireworks Friday.
The five-game set begins Monday, April 14 with Low Fare Monday, presented by McGhee Tyson Airport. Fans can get bang for their buck on this night with hot dogs, popcorn and sodas just $1 dollar each. The series opener is scheduled to kick off at 7:15 pm.
The next two meetings on Tuesday, April 15 and Wednesday, April 16 are both Kids Health and Safety Days, presented by Kohl's Cares and East Tennessee Children's hospital with the Tuesday's start time at noon., while Wednesday's is slated for a first pitch time of 11:30 a.m. Tuesday is also Tail Waggin' Tuesday, with man's best friend welcomed to join their owners at the ballpark.
Wednesday is also All-You-Can-Eat Wednesday, with special tickets for those who come to the ballpark extra hungry for all the hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, fries and Pepsi products they can handle. Adult All-You-Can-Eat tickets are just $19.99, while kids' tickets are $17.99.
Thursday, April 17 is the first Thirsty Thursday of the 2014 season at Smokies Stadium, with drink specials available all night long, including soda and domestic draft beers available for just $1 dollar. First pitch for that evening's game is set for 7:15 p.m.
The series and ten-game homestand ends with a bang on Friday, April 18, with Fireworks Friday, presented by Pepsi, Coors Light, WIVK and WVLT. Fans will want to stick around after the game for a spectacular post-game fireworks display.
Tickets for the remaining five games of Tennessee's ten-game homestand are still available, and can be purchased at www.smokiesbaseball.com, or by calling the Smokies Ticket Office at (865) 286-2300.
