KODAK - The Chicago Cubs announced a series of transactions that impact their Double-A Tennessee Smokies roster prior to this afternoon's series finale against the Chattanooga Lookouts at Smokies Stadium.

Outfielder Jae-Hoon Ha has been transferred to Tennessee from Triple-A Iowa. Ha has played for Tennessee in each of the last three seasons, totaling a .277 average (218-786) with ten homers and 86 RBI in 210 total contests for the Smokies.

In a corresponding move, infielder Giuseppe Papaccio has been transferred from Tennessee to Extended Spring Training. The 22-year-old went hitless in two pinch hit appearances for the Smokies, including one strikeout.

In addition, left-hander Austin Kirk has been transferred from High-A Daytona to Tennessee. In two relief outings for the D-Cubs, Kirk owns no record and 8.31 ERA (4 ER in 4.1 IP). The southpaw has made 14 appearances (13 starts) for the Smokies between the last two seasons, recording a 4-3 mark and 5.62 ERA (41 ER in 65.2 IP).

In a corresponding move, right-handed reliever Frank Batista has been transferred to Extended Spring Training from Tennessee. In three appearances for the Smokies, the 24-year-old compiled no record and a 2.45 ERA (1 ER in 3.2 IP).

Tennessee's roster stands at 25 active players, in addition to Cubs right-hander Jake Arrieta, who is with the club on a Major League Rehab Assignment. A revised roster is attached.

The Smokies wrap up their series this afternoon against the Chattanooga Lookouts, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, with first pitch scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Right-hander Matt Loosen (0-1, 5.40) is slated to take the hill for Tennessee, while right-hander Garrett Gould (0-1, 3.38) is expected to get the nod for Chattanooga.
