
Smokies to Begin Playoffs Thursday, September 5 in Birmingham

KODAK, Tenn. - The Second-Half North Division Champion Tennessee Smokies are playoff bound for the fourth time in the last five seasons. The 2013 Southern League playoffs are scheduled to begin on Thursday, September 5. The best-of-five North Division Championship Series will see the Smokies (second-half North Division champions) face the Birmingham Barons (first-half North Division champions). The first two games of the NDCS will be held in Regions Field in Birmingham, Ala., with the final three being held at Smokies Park.

Tennessee Smokies vs. Birmingham Barons
Game #1: Thursday, September 5 @ Regions Field at 8:05 p.m. EST
Game #2: Friday, September 6 @ Regions Field at 8:05 p.m. EST
Game #3: Saturday, September 7 @ Smokies Park at 6:15 p.m. EST
Game #4: (if necessary) Sunday, September 8 @ Smokies Park 3:00 p.m. EST
Game #5: (if necessary) Monday, September 9 @ Smokies Park 7:15 p.m. EST
