Pedroza reached on a fielder's choice as Van Slyke was thrown out at the plate, advancing Cavazos-Galvez to second base. With Ortiz batting, Cavazos-Galvez attempted to steal third base and after a throwing error on the play by Blake Lalli, Cavazos-Galvez scored making the score 2-0.
