Smitherman named player of the week

The Southern League has announced Stephen Smitherman has been named the BC Powder hitter of the week. Smitherman batted .414 in 29 at bats last week. He hit four home runs and had 11 RBI?s. At one point, he had five multiple-hit games in a row.
