
Smith reassigned to Hamilton

The Edmonton Oilers have reassigned defenseman Dan Smith to the Hamilton Bulldogs.
Smith, 29, was recalled by Edmonton on November 4 and appeared in seven games with the Oilers, going scoreless while posting seven penalty minutes. The native of Fernie, B.C., has played in nine games for Hamilton this season, recording one assist and eight penalty minutes.
The Bulldogs play the fourth game of their current five-game road trip on Tuesday, November 22, when they face the Omaha Knights for the second time this season at the Omaha Civic Auditorium. Game time is 8:00 p.m.
