Hershey Bears News Release
Four more power play goals send HERSHEY to points in 11 straight games as the BEARS rout Rochester Sunday afternoon.
Dean Arsene scored the game-winning goal midway through the first period, and it proved to be the only even strength goal HERSHEY would score all night. The BEARS scored a power play goal just 1:37 into the game when Boyd Gordon scored his fourth of the year, and Boyd Kane added a power play tally at 13:59 of the first period. Eric Fehr picked up his eighth goal of the season just 36 seconds into the second period, and Kane rounded out the scoring with a third period lamp-lighter. Frederic Cassivi won his seventh game of the season while playing his third game in as many days. Kane has named the game's number one star for scoring two goals, Cassivi was the number two star, and Lawrence Nycholat was number three star after recording three assists.
On the weekend, the BEARS outscored its opposition 12-3 in two games, and scored 11 power play goals in the process.
The BEARS host Cleveland Wednesday night at GIANT Center. Face-off is at 7:00 p.m.
