Joliet Slammers News Release
In a key game with a playoff berth on the line, the Slammers played the spoiler taking game four against the Florence Y'alls. The scoring went back and forth until the Slammers scored the deciding run in the bottom of the 10th inning. With the bases loaded, Dylan Hardy stepped up and barrelled a ball into centerfield. Carson Maxwell scored easily as Hardy's sacrifice fly lead the Slammers to a victory on the final home game of the season
