Matt Petrusek tossed a scoreless ninth to earn his eighth save. Nashua reliever Isaac Burkett (0-1) was tagged with the loss for Nashua.

The Skyhawks (22-18) snapped a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the sixth when Yohanny Valera led off with a walk. Nashua (17-22) tied the game at 3-3 in the top of the sixth on an RBI-double by Luis Rodriguez.

Nashua and Sussex return to action Saturday at Skylands Park for the final game of the two-game set. First pitch will be at 5:05 p.m.
