Skyforce to Host Benefit Golf Tournament

Sioux Falls, S.D. (May 1, 2014) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce will host the 13th Annual Roger D. Larsen Benefit Golf Tournament on Monday, May 19 at Willow Run Golf Course. Check-in for the four-person scramble begins at 10:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 11:30 a.m. To secure a spot in the tournament please call the Skyforce office at (605) 332-0605.
Entry fee for the event is $700 per foursome which includes green fees, cart rental, unlimited range balls, lunch on the course, free drinks, cocktail hour and banquet dinner. There will be a silent auction held throughout the duration of the tournament and banquet.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Sky's the Limit Youth Foundation. Each year, Skyforce coaches, players and staff are involved in a variety of Sky's the Limit outreach activities. The event has raised $300,164 in 12 years.
Roger Larsen was a member of the Skyforce ownership group from 1993-99 and again from 2001 until his life came to a tragic halt on Feb. 13, 2002. Larsen and current Skyforce owner Greg Heineman were business partners at Williams Insurance for 31 years prior to his unexpected death.
