Sioux Falls S.D. (Jan. 17, 2014) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce defeated the Delaware 87ers 100-93 Friday night at the Sanford Pentagon. In a tightly contested game with 22 lead changes, Sioux Falls used two late threes and consistent defensive pressure to win its second straight.

The turnover battle was strongly one-sided as Delaware (3-19) turned it over 31 times to Sioux Falls' 16. Sioux Falls (13-7) had four times as many steals (16) as Delaware (4) and notched 23 fast-break points to Delaware's 13. DeAndre Liggins led all performers with seven steals on the night.

Sioux Falls struggled behind the arc for most of the night until two timely 3-pointers by Liggins and Justin Hamilton. Both hit long-range shots with under 1:27 to play to help Sioux Falls to a seven-point win, the largest Skyforce lead of the contest.

Four other players also scored in double figures for Sioux Falls as Liggins, Tre Kelley, Anthony Mason Jr. and Henry Walker scored 15, 14, 13 and 12 points, respectively. Larry Drew II came off the bench to lead the team with seven assists and Walker led Sioux Falls with nine rebounds.
