Season Series

The ‘Force leads the season series with the Stampede five games to one as they are 4-0 at home and 1-1 at Qwest Arena so far this season. The last time these two teams met in Boise the ‘Force pulled out a nailbiter as they won 94-92 (6, 1) on a last second dunk from Brandon Hunter back on December 2nd. The ‘Force is 36-35 (.507) all-time against the Idaho Stampede.

Buford Loves Idaho

Skyforce guard Rodney Buford has enjoyed some of his best games this season against the Idaho Stampede as he is averaging 24.3 ppg and 7.3 rpg in four home games against the Stampede. On the season Buford is currently averaging 18.1 ppg and 4.7 rpg in 21 games (21 starts). Fans in Boise did not see Buford back in December as he stayed home with an injury. They will also get a look at Buford next week as he was one of three ‘Force players chosen to the Western Conference All-Star Team.

‘Force-Stampede Rematch

After tonight's game the ‘Force and Stampede will not face each other again until Friday, February 24th, at Qwest Arena in Boise, Idaho. After that game they will face each other two more times: Friday, March 3rd in Sioux Falls and Saturday, March 11 in Boise for the Stampede's regular season home finale.
