
Skyforce fall to Yakama

Yakima, WA - The Sioux Falls Skyforce dropped a game tonight to the Yakama Sun Kings 122-108 (6, 1) to drop to 14-12 on the season. All eight Sun Kings players who played in the game scored in double figures and the Sun Kings avenged a home loss earlier this season to the Skyforce. Yakama improved to 16-7 and remains on top of the Western Conference standings.
The last time the âForce played at the SunDome they left town with all seven quarter-points as they destroyed the Sun Kings 122-102 (7, 0) back on November 29th. Yakama would win the first two quarters 29-26 and 30-24 as they went into halftime leading 59-50. The 'Force would battle back and win the third quarter 33-27 and went into the final stanza trailing 86-83. Yakama forced missed shots or turnovers on nine of the Skyforce's first twelve possessions and took advantage as they built a commanding lead and held on for their third straight home win.
The Skyforce's next game is on Wednesday, January 11th, on the road against the Idaho Stampede. Tip-off is set for 8:10 pm CST at Qwest Arena.
