
Skyforce Announces Roster Changes

Sioux Falls Skyforce News Release
Sioux Falls, S.D. (March 26, 2008) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today the team has acquired forward Glen McGowan from the Tulsa 66ers in exchange for newly acquired guard Russell Carter. Bobby Jones has also been reacquired after a 10-day stint with the Miami Heat.
McGowan averaged 11.7 points and 4.8 rebounds in 18 games with the Tulsa 66ers before being waived due to injury on Feb. 25. The 6-9, 230-pound forward shot 51% (72-of-141) from the field and an impressive 83% (65-of-78) from the free throw line. He enjoyed a stellar college career at Pepperdine as he earned All-West Coast Conference honors his junior and senior seasons.
Bobby Jones returns to Sioux Falls after his 10-day contract with Miami expired last Friday. In his previous two stints with the Skyforce this season he averaged 7.0 points and 4.3 rebounds in three games. In six games with the Heat he averaged 8.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in 23.8 minutes. He scored a team-high 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting in his final game with the Heat. Miami was the fourth NBA team Jones suited up for this season in addition to the Denver Nuggets, Memphis Grizzlies and Houston Rockets.
