Skyforce Acquires Tevin King

Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired Tevin King from the available player pool. The transaction was complete due to forward Martin Krampelj being placed in the G League's Health and Safety protocols.

King, a 6-2, 205-pound guard out of South Dakota State went undrafted in the 2019 NBA Draft.

He was the 27th pick of the second round of the 2021 NBA G League Draft by the Oklahoma City Blue.

King played in 25 games for the Austin Spurs in 2019-20, averaging 3.9 points on 37.6 percent shooting, 2.2 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 0.8 steals in 14.6 minutes per game.

A four-year contributor for the Jackrabbits, King was a part of three NCAA Tournament teams. He averaged 6.6 points on 49.2 percent shooting, 4.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.4 steals in 134 games (85 starts) for SDSU.

King will wear #9 for the Skyforce and is expected to be available for the team's upcoming home game on February 3 (tonight) against the Agua Caliente Clippers of Ontario. Tip-off is slated for 6:30 PM at the Sanford Pentagon.
