Skyforce Acquires Ryan Evans from Warriors

Sioux Falls, S.D. (Nov. 4, 2013) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired forward Ryan Evans from the Santa Cruz Warriors in exchange for forward Mychel Thompson. Evans was acquired by Santa Cruz from the Erie BayHawks in a separate trade earlier today.

Evans averaged 7.0 points and 4.9 rebounds in four seasons (138 games) at the University of Wisconsin. He was named to the 2013 Big Ten All-Tournament team after averaging a team-best 11.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in three games. The 6-8, 215-pound forward was named All-Big Ten Honorable Mention as a junior after averaging 11.0 points and 6.8 rebounds in 36 games.

Season tickets and 12-ticket flex packs for the 2013-14 season are on sale. Discounts and benefits are available for groups of 10 or more. Single game tickets will go on sale Monday, Nov. 11 at 10 a.m. The home opener is set for Friday, Nov. 22 against the Reno Bighorns. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CT at the Sanford Pentagon.
