
Skyforce Acquires Former NBA Point Guard

Sioux Falls, S.D. (Feb. 25, 2013) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired guard Andre Barrett from the Maine Red Claws in exchange for guard Mark Tyndale.
Barrett averaged 7.5 points and 7.6 assists in 17 games (10 starts) with Maine this season. He holds NBA career averages of 3.3 points and 2.0 assists in 67 games with six teams. The 5-11, 175-pound guard has NBA Development League career averages of 16.6 points and 7.5 assists in 119 games (112 starts) with five teams. His best season came in 2007-08 when he averaged 18.4 points and 8.7 assists while shooting 43.9 percent from the 3-point line (54-of-123) in 43 games with the Austin Toros (13) and Bakersfield Jam (30).
