
Springfield's Kris Joseph Named NBA Development League Performer of the Week

NEW YORK, Feb 25, 2013 - Kris Joseph of the Springfield Armor was today named NBA Development League Performer of the Week for games played Feb. 18-24.
In his first week as a member of Springfield, Joseph (6-7, 215, Syracuse) averaged 24.7 points while shooting 47 percent from behind the arc as the Armor went 3-0 on the week. In a 109-104 victory over the Idaho Stampede, Joseph notched 27 points on 7-of-13 shooting to go along with five rebounds. He also connected on 10-of-13 chances from the free-throw line and made all three of his three-point attempts.
Before being traded to Springfield, Joseph played 12 games this season with the Maine Red Claws, averaging 19.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals.
