
Red Claws Acquire Mark Tyndale from Skyforce

PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, today announced that they have acquired guard Mark Tyndale from the Sioux Falls Skyforce in a trade that will send veteran point guard Andre Barrett to Sioux Falls.
Selected by the Skyforce in the second round (18th overall) of the 2012 NBA D-League Draft, Tyndale, 27, averaged 10.1 points and 3.8 assists in 34 games played with Sioux Falls this season. Tyndale also has NBA Development League experience with the Iowa Energy where he played 66 games over two seasons from 2008-10, averaging 12.0 points and 3.8 rebounds. The 6-5, 210 lbs. guard out of Temple University spent the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons overseas with teams in Germany, Ukraine and Sweden before returning to the NBADL this season.
The Red Claws will play the first game of a five-game homestand this Friday when they host the Erie BayHawks at 7 PM.
