
Skyforce Acquires Farrakhan

Sioux Falls, S.D. (Jan. 31, 2013) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired guard Mustapha Farrakhan. To make room for him guard Troy Hudson has been placed on the inactive list. The active roster now stands at 10 players.
Farrakhan averaged 6.6 points and 2.3 rebounds in 19 games (five starts) with the Iowa Energy this season. He was named to the NBA Development League All-Rookie Second Team after averaging 9.0 points and 3.4 assists in 39 games (11 starts) with the Bakersfield Jam last season. He was selected by the Jam in the first round (13th overall) of the 2011 NBA D-League Draft. The 6-4, 181-pound guard averaged 7.1 points and 1.7 rebounds in four seasons (103 games) at the University of Virginia.
