
Sky Win Regular-Season Finale Behind Courtney Williams' Triple-Double, 102-91

TODAY'S GAME HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: The Chicago Sky defeated the Connecticut Sun for the first time this season, 102-91, on the road in the final regular-season game in overtime. The Sky moved to 1-3 against Connecticut this season and to 32-33 against the Sun all time. The Sky conclude the regular season at 18-22 overall, 5-15 against the Eastern Conference and 11-9 on the road. Today marked Chicago's second overtime game this season and the team's sixth time scoring 100+ points in a game this year, tied with New York for the second-most such games this season (Behind Las Vegas, who has 10 such games)
Chicago's Courtney Williams recorded her second career triple-double in the win, her second this season, notching 23 points, a career-high 16 rebounds and 13 assists. Williams' triple-double is the 13th this season, a WNBA record, and is the sixth in Sky history.
The Sky also got 21 points from Elizabeth Williams, two points shy of tying her career high. Marina Mabrey scored 16 points and added seven assists while Dana Evans had 18 points off the bench.
Olivia Nelson-Ododa led the Sun in scoring, putting up a career-high 20 points to go along with 11 rebounds. Nelson-Ododa's 11 rebounds tied a career high. Today marked Nelson-Ododa's third career double-double. Tyasha Harris added 17 points, DiJonai Carrington scored 12 points and four assists, and Natisha Hiedeman scored 13.

Thomas is the first player in WNBA history to record 600+ points, 400+ rebounds and 300+ assists in a season
NEXT UP: The No. 8-seeded Chicago Sky embark on the 2023 WNBA Playoffs to take on the No. 1 seed Las Vegas Aces. The Sky played the Aces four times this season and went 0-4 against them this year. The Sky are 6-11 against the Aces since they moved to Las Vegas.
The 2023 WNBA Playoffs begin on Wednesday, Sept. 13 and the Sky will tip off at 7 p.m. PT inside T-Mobile Arena. The first two games of Chicago's series, regardless of opponent, are on the road, and the third (if necessary) is at home at Wintrust Arena. Game 1 of the series will be broadcast nationally on ESPN and Game 2 of the series will be broadcast nationally on ABC.
