Chicago Sky News Release

The Chicago Sky (1-8) returned from last weekend's three-game West Coast road trip and is looking for a victory at home this week. It's been a rough start for the Sky, which has had a tough schedule competing against conference final teams. The team also lost a third starter to the injury list; Stacey Dales, who is out for six weeks with a bruised knee bone, joins Elaine Powell and Chelsea Newton on the sidelines. Deanna Jackson also is suffering from a jammed toe and is doubtful for Thursday against Seattle.

Despite last week's losses, Sky guard Jia Perkins had a great scoring week with game highs (19 and 17) against Los Angeles and Sacramento, respectively. Rookie forward/center Candice Dupree continues to turn heads with her scoring ability and all-around play.
