
Sky Announce Official Opening Day Roster

CHICAGO, May 16, 2012 - The Chicago Sky announced today its official opening day roster for the 2012 season. The final 11-player roster includes six returners from the 2012 team and five newcomers. Highlighting the returners are All-Stars Sylvia Fowles, Epiphanny Prince and Courtney Vandersloot. Newcomers include veterans Swin Cash, Ticha Penicheiro, Ruth Riley and Le'coe Willingham. A complete roster is below.
The Chicago Sky waived Felicia Chester-Wootton today to finalize the roster. Chester-Wootton, a 6-3 forward from DePaul University, was signed by the Sky on February 28, 2012. She played in four games for the New York Liberty in 2011.

Chicago starts the 2012 regular season in Washington versus the Mystics on Saturday, May 19. The team's home opener is set for Friday, May 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Allstate Arena versus the Indiana Fever.
