Silver Stars Announce Final Roster

SAN ANTONIO - The Silver Stars today announced that they have waived forwards Kalisha Keane and Porsha Phillips and guard Loree Moore. The San Antonio roster is now finalized with 11 players.

The 2012 final roster consists of seven veterans from last season, two WNBA veterans that were acquired during the offseason, first round draft pick Shenise Johnson and Chilean rookie Ziomara Morrison.

Seven players on the 2012 roster have received WNBA All-Star nods during their careers - Danielle Adams (2011), Jayne Appel (2010), Shameka Christon (2006), Becky Hammon (2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011), Jia Perkins (2009), Tangela Smith (2006) and Sophia Young (2006, 2007, 2009, 2010). Additionally, two players on the 2012 roster have won WNBA Championships - Tully Bevilaqua (2004) and Smith (2007, 2009).
