Kitchener Rangers News Release
Jeff Skinner netted a hat-trick to lead the Kitchener Rangers to a 4-1 win over the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
Skinner opened up scoring on a Rangers power play at the 8:47 mark of the first period. Julian Cimadamore counted his 12th goal of the season at the 14:52 mark to put Kitchener up 2-0 by the end of the first period.
Skinner scored two more goals in the second period to give the Rangers a four goal lead. Chris MacKinnon assisted on all three of Skinner's goals.
Jacob Muzzin stopped Rangers net-minder Parker VanBuskirk's shut-out bid at the 1:02 mark of the third period.
The Rangers return to action this Tuesday, February 10th when the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors visit for a 7:30pm game.
