Season Ticket Holders will enter Stockton Arena through the North Entry and seating for tonight's event is general admission, but only open to sections 101, 126 and 127. Fans also have the opportunity to renew their season tickets at the event for the Thunder's upcoming 2014-15 Ten Year Anniversary season! After tonight's skills competition is over the Thunder will hold a half hour team autograph session in the north conference room.
Team captains Hunt and Constant drafted their teams from the current pool of Thunder players. Garet won the right to draft first after a spirited "rock-paper-scissors" battle, and chose forward Mathieu Gagnon with the first overall pick. The draft lasted ten rounds to select all 19 players on the roster, and both captains agreed they'd be able to make one trade. They decided to swap players Adam Brace, Landon Oslanski and Alex MacLeod from Team Hunt for Mitch Bruijsten and Riley Wetmore from Team Constant. Fans can see the full team rosters by picking up a free roster card at the event.
Tonight's competition will also feature ten skaters and one goalie from the Stockton Colts junior hockey team. Two players each were selected from the five different levels of Stockton Colts hockey: mites, squirts, pee-wees, bantams and midgets.
One player from each level was randomly designated to compete for Team Hunt and Team Constant. The pee-wee and midget players will compete in the Fastest Skater event, the the squirt and bantam players will feature in the Accuracy Shooting competition and the bantam and midget players will take part in the Hardest Shot event. All Stockton Colts players will be in the Stick-Handling Relay and Shootout Competition, and one goalie, from the midget team, was selected to be in net for their shootout attempts.
