
Skeeters Host Texas A&M Night

SUGAR LAND, Texas - The Sugar Land Skeeters will host Texas A&M Night at Constellation Field Friday, July 6 at 7:05 p.m. Former Aggie head football coach R.C. Slocum will be in attendance along with new head coach Kevin Sumlin. Former A&M quarterback and Houston Oiler Bucky Richardson will be an honorary Skeeters Manager assisting Manager Gary Gaetti for the evening. Limited tickets for the game and the four-game homestand are still available by calling 281-240-HITS (4487) or online at SugarLandSkeeters.com.
The Skeeters encourage all Aggies in attendance to show their Aggie pride and "Maroon Out" Constellation Field on Friday evening as the A&M Flag will be flying high over the stadium for the first time. The "First Lady of Texas A&M", Reveille, will welcome all fans in attendance.
Roger Creager will be performing a "Best in Texas" postgame concert presented by Bud Light. The concert will take place in front of the Bud Light Ice House in right center field. Fans will be allowed onto the field for the concert.
Tickets are available as season, 8-game and 3-game packages in addition to group hospitality and single game tickets. Children wearing a team jersey receive a free ticket. Other ticket prices start at just $8.
About the Sugar Land Skeeters: The Sugar Land Skeeters minor league baseball team, led by Manager and former Major League All-Star Gary Gaetti, play in the $37 million Constellation Field, located at the intersection of State Highway 6 and U.S. Highway 90A. The Sugar Land Skeeters play 140 regular season games (70 home, 70 away) during the 2012 Season presented by ABC Home & Commercial Services. Constellation Field will also play host to a multitude of other events, including football, soccer, lacrosse, cheerleading and band competitions, as well as concerts, group outings and scout sleepovers.
Fixed-seat stadium capacity is approximately 6,000 for baseball, plus additional lawn and standing-room-only areas. Constellation Field has a capacity of 10,000-plus in concert configuration.
