Skate Date with Players Announced for Season Ticket Holders Only

SOUTHAVEN-The date has been decided: a special ice skating and pizza party with the RiverKings players and staff at the RiverKings home arena has been determined for Wednesday, Feb. 22 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The event is a special thank-you event to Season Ticket Holders for their support of the team this year.

"We have been through a lot of changes this season, both on the ice and off," General Manager Ab Mattice said. ""Our season ticket holders have been very supportive overall during this time of good, but sometimes stressful, changes for us. We wanted to do something to thank them."

Fans are encouraged to bring their own skates; however, the RiverKings have a limited number of skates available for use that night, including children's sizes.

Season Ticket Holders must R.S.V.P. for the event by Friday, Feb. 17. The festivities will include complimentary pizza and soft drinks for as many folks who reserve a spot prior to the event by calling Whitley in the RiverKings office 662.342.1755 or by emailing whitley@riverkings.com.

All season ticket holders are welcome to attend the "Skate Date" by responding to the front office by the Feb. 17 deadline. While originally intended as an alternative to the Feb. 28 "Face Off Field Trip presented by Belhaven University," the RiverKings have since created a Face Off Field Trip alternatives package that includes the unique opportunity to view a game from a Landers Center luxury suite, a chance to sit in the Gold Level 106 seats or to sit in the season ticket holder's regular seat, provided he/she responds by today (Jan. 31).
