Birmingham, AL - The Mississippi Braves scored six runs in the seventh inning en route to an 8-4 win over the Birmingham Barons in front of 5,292 fans at Regions Field.

The Barons broke a 1-1 tie in the third with three runs on RBI singles by Rangel Ravelo and Kevan Smith taking a 4-1 lead against M-Braves starter Jason Hursh (7-6, 3.90).

Kyle Kubitza followed a batter later with a sacrifice fly, scoring Rohm from third base. Jarrett Casey was brought in later in the inning and surrendered a two-run home run to Daniel Castro, his second long ball of the game, giving Mississippi an 8-4 lead they would not relinquish.
