
Six-run fourth inning beats Suns

Greenville, SC: For the third game in four days the Suns can't overcome giving up a big inning, and lose 8-3. On Tuesday it was a six-run fourth inning that led to the Suns (19-25) demise. Greenville (25-20) had eight runs on eight hits, including a two-run homer by Tony Granadillo in the seventh to put the game out of reach. Granadillo had the first RBI of the game, an RBI double in the fourth. Jose Castro went 3-4 in a losing cause, and Nick Evans had two hits and an RBI. The Suns fell to 2-5 on the road trip.
Wednesday at 12:05pm will be the finale of the Suns four game series in Greenville, and their eight game road trip. Bobby Parnell goes for the Suns against RHP Mike Bowden. The Suns come home to play the Greensboro Grasshoppers on Thirsty Thursday at 7:05pm.
