The Lunkers had the most players selected of any team in the North Division.

Wade Wass, the Lunker catcher out of Meridian Community College, was selected as one of the three catchers on the All-Star team. After struggling through the middle of the 1st half, Wass rebounded nicely and is currently batting .319. He also leads the Lunkers with three home runs.

Dan Olinger, the Lunker third baseman, was also selected. The redshirt freshman out of the University of Minnesota has been very consistent for the Lunkers this season, as he leads the team with 26 RBIs.

The Lunkers also had three pitchers selected to the team. Jason Forjet, the right-hander out of Florida Gulf Coast University, leads the league in strikeouts with 47 and will represent the Lunkers at the All-Star Game.

Kye Winter, the right-hander out of Augustana, who initially started out as a temporary player for the Lunkers, was also selected. Winter has been outstanding for the Lunkers this season. He has a (3-0) record to go along with a 1.64 ERA.

"We are thrilled to have six players selected for this year's All-Star Game," said Lunkers General Manager Dustin Anaas. "These guys deserve to be rewarded for their tremendous work in the 1st half."

The Lunkers finished with a (20-10) record in the 1st half and finished in 2nd place in the North Division.
