
Four Mallards Named All-Stars; Team Returns Home to Face Rafters

Madison Mallards News Release
The Madison Mallards return home to the "Duck Pond" Saturday as they get ready to face the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters in a two-game weekend series. Saturday's game will begin at 6:05 p.m. and is also the first home game for the Mallards in the second half of the season.
The 2011 Northwoods League All-Star rosters were also released Saturday morning, and four Mallards made the South Division squad. Position players Nate Theunissen (Central Michigan) and Jordan Owen (Tennessee - Martin) will be making the trip to Wisconsin Rapids along with pitchers Rusty Shellhorn (Texas Tech) and Matt Milroy (Illinois).
