The Wildcats came of the gates hard again with several great chances in the first, finishing the period with the lead 1-0. Scott Trask reciving his first of the season! Rouyn came out strong in the second getting two markers to take the lead. One minute after Rouyn's second goal Alex Saulnier scored a beauty to tie it up going into the 3rd. The third period was all Moncton with goals from James Melindy and two from Alex Saulnier to record the hat trick! With a final score of 5-2, this takes the Wildcats win streak to 6!!
Shots on goal were 33-25 Moncton. Roman Will recorded the win. Moncton was 1/3 on the PP while Rouyn-Noranda was 0/3. Three starts were:
1. MON - 21 Alex Saulnier
2. MON - 8 Patrick Delisle-Houde
3. MON - 16 Patrick Downe
The Cats are looking to extend the streak to seven this Saturday at 7PM at the Moncton Coliseum against the Victoriaville Tigers.
