
Sioux Falls acquires Nesbitt

Sioux Falls, S.D. (December 2, 2006) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce has acquired guard Elton Nesbitt and waived guard Chris Rodgers.
Nesbitt, 5-9, 165, was selected by the Los Angeles D-Fenders in the sixth round (66th overall) of the 2006 D-League Draft. He was waived by the D-Fenders on November 16. The Southern Conference player of the year after averaging 21.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists as a senior at Georgia Southern, Nesbitt averaged 19.2 points 3.7 rebounds and 3.0 assists in a 90-game collegiate career.
Taken by the Skyforce in the fifth round (50th overall) of the 2006 D-League Draft, Rodgers played in four games and averaged 18.3 minutes, 3.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
Nesbitt is expected to be in uniform when Sioux Falls (2-2) visits Bakersfield (0-4) on Sunday.
