
Sioux Falls Acquires Guard Andre Dawkins

Sioux Falls, SD (Jan. 12, 2015) - The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that they have acquired rookie guard Andre Dawkins. Dawkins was waived by the Miami HEAT on Jan. 6.
Earlier this season, Dawkins played eight games with the Skyforce while on assignment from the Miami HEAT. Dawkins averaged 23.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.8 assists during those eight games. In his last game with the team, Dawkins scored 42 points (14-18 FG, 12-15 3FG) in a 138-126 win over the Texas Legends on Dec. 20. Dawkins' 12 made three-pointers (watch) is franchise record for a single game.
The Skyforce's (10-10) next home game is this Tuesday, Jan. 13 against the Erie BayHawks (7-14). Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at the Sanford Pentagon.
