Single-Game Tickets on Sale Wednesday

(Boise, ID) - Individual game tickets for the 2010-2011 Idaho Steelheads hockey season will go on sale to the general public Wednesday, September 29, at 10 AM.
The Steelheads and Qwest Arena will be hosting a one-day special on Wednesday for fans who come to the arena box office to purchase tickets - buy a ticket to the home opener on Friday, October 15, and receive a free ticket to the game the following night.
The special, "Buy One, Get One" offer is only valid in-person at the Qwest Arena box office on Wednesday. The box office will be open from 10 AM to 6 PM.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.idahosteelheads.com or at the Qwest Arena box office (208.331.TIXS). Ticket prices for adults range from $15 per seat to $32.50, plus box office fees, and there are special rates for juniors and seniors.
The popular Family Fun Fridays return once again this season, highlighted by the "4-for-$44" ticket offer. Fans can purchase four tickets, four Pepsi products, and four Double-R Ranch hot dogs for just $44 (plus fees) - a savings of more than $30 over average walkup and concession prices - to any Friday-night home game.
New this season is the Twice the Ice promotion. Fans that purchase walk-up tickets for a Wednesday-night home game can purchase a ticket to the next Saturday home game for just $7 - fans can double up their hockey action for just $22! The offer is valid in the "P4" price scale and subject to availability.
The 72-game ECHL regular season opens on Friday, October 15, when the Steelheads host the Victoria Salmon Kings. Game time for each Steelheads home game is 7 PM, with the Qwest Arena doors opening at 6:30.
