Busting out the fireworks
Allegiant Air is bringing an 'Air' show to the Cove this summer, as Friday, June 2, will kick-off the first game in a summer-long promotion, Friday Night Fireworks. Every Friday in June, July and August, Allegiant Air will sponsor post-game fireworks to entertain the Silver Hawk crowds. Be sure to stick around for the show!
Lugnuts in the Bend
While the Silver Hawks have moved up from their 6th place spot a week ago, thanks to their 3-1 series with the Dayton Dragons, they are still set to face a challenge with their upcoming homestand with the No. 1 Lansing Lugnuts.
Scouting out at the Cove
Baseball. (check) Camping. (check) Fireworks. (check) Movie. (check) Good food. (check) Patch. (check) Hundreds of boy and cub scouts will be in the stands for Scout Night for fun with baseball, camping, fireworks and more. Tickets for scouts and chaperones are $8 for overnight and $3 for the game only. Overnight participants will have the opportunity to camp-out on the field, be shown a baseball themed movie, receive a midnight snack, patch and Krispy Kreme donuts for breakfast! June 16th will be Girl Scout night for more information about either night, contact your sales representative. Friday, June 2, will kick-off the summer-long promotion, "Friday Night Fireworks," as every Friday Night home game in June, July and August will have a post-game display of fireworks for all to enjoy.
Fire-up for Firefighters
In case the Lugnuts get too fired up during this Saturday's game, there will be hundreds of firefighters on hand to put out their flames as Saturday is Firefighter Appreciation Night. Come out and show your support for these local heros. Saturday is also Meijer Family Fun Night. The game, in partnership with Sunny 101.5, is sure to be a big hit as fans will receive a Meijer Sweepstakes Card with the purchase of a game ticket. Take the sweepstake card to any local, participating Meijer store following Saturday's game to check if you've won a prize! Those fans that bring the bulletin from their house of worship this Sunday will receive a two-dollar discount on admission, courtesy of WFRN radio. Sunday is also TCU Kids' Day, when TCU Kid's Club members can receive two free tickets for showing their member card.
Celebrating Survival
The American Cancer Society, United Health Services and Elkhart Cancer Services have worked together in cooperation with the Cancer Survivor Board to put together a day at the ballpark for hundreds of cancer survivors. Survivors will enjoy a picnic of hot dogs, hamburgers and grilled chicken and also participant in a pre-game march around the bases with the banner signed by all the survivors.
Dollar Deals on Dollar Mondays
The Silver Hawks are proud to once again present dollar deals with "Dollar Mondays" on every Monday game this season. All tickets, hot dogs and pepsi fountain drinks are just $1 each! It's a perfect opportunity to bring family and friends out for a night of fun that's won't break the bank.
Hawks and Devil Rays too close to call
After battling out the Lugnuts, the No. 4 Silver Hawks will have little time to rest as the No. 3 Southwest Michigan Devil Rays are set to arrive in South Bend for a June 6-9 series. The Silver Hawks hope to knock out the Devil Rays and take over that 3rd place spot.
Get 'Pepsi'(ed) up for Pepsi Wednesday
On Wednesday, bring any Pepsi product proof of purchase (can, bottle, wrapper, etc) to the box office and receive one free ticket with the purchase of the same. 1 ticket + 1 hot dog + 1 program + 1 drink +1 snack = just $5 with the South Bend Tribune 5 for $5 deal on Wednesday at the Cove!
Triple-Play Thursdays
It's all about the number 3 on Thursdays this season at the ballpark. Come out on Thursday and buy a reserve seat ticket for only $3, enjoy an ice cold Michelob Ultra in the Budweiser Bullpen Bar and Grille for just $3 and take your chances at winning 3 years of season tickets if the Silver Hawks turn a triple play in the 3rd, 6th, or 9th inning. Triple Play Thursdays are sponsored by 103.9 The Bear and WB 25, so if your lucky number is three...come out and have some fun this Thursday!
