
Shoulder Injury Places Mount on Injured List

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark -Arkansas Traveler's second basemen, Ryan Mount was placed on the seven day disabled list on June 21, due to a right shoulder subluxation. Mount will be replaced by Michael Demperio from the Orem Owlz.
Mount was drafted in 2005 by the Angels, and has a career average of .268 with 37 home runs and 178 RBI's. This year for the Travs, Mount has played primarily second base in his 50 game appearances, but has also seen some time in the outfield. This year Mount has an average of .249 with 7 home runs and 28 RBI's. Due to the injury Mount will not be able to participate in this seasons All-Star game.
Mount's replacement Demperio, was drafted in 2009 and played 26 games for the Orem Owlz. He hit .156 with three doubles. Demperio came to the Travs from the Orem Owlz, and has not played a game. Demplerio will not be arriving until after Tuesday's game against the Springfield Cardinals.
