
Shorebirds Game Postponed on Saturday Night

Charleston, S.C. - The Delmarva Shorebirds game against the Charleston RiverDogs has been postponed due to an intense storm on Saturday night. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday afternoon with game one scheduled for 2:05 p.m. Game two of the twin-bill will begin 30-minutes following the completion of game one. Both games of the doubleheader will be seven-inning contests.
The Shorebirds are 7-9 in the second half of play and 42-44 overall in 2011. They took game two of the current series on Friday night, 6-5, behind four scoreless innings from the bullpen (Will Startup, Randy Henry & David Walters).
The Shorebirds return to Arthur W. Perdue Stadium on Tuesday, July 12 to begin a seven-game homestand. For tickets and more information, contact the Delmarva Shorebirds at 410-219-3112.
