RiverDogs and Shorebirds Rained Out

July 9, 2011 - South Atlantic League (SAL1)
Charleston RiverDogs News Release

CHARLESTON, S.C. - Saturday's scheduled game between the Charleston RiverDogs and Delmarva Shorebirds has been postponed due to rain. A single-admission doubleheader has been scheduled for Sunday at 2:05 p.m.

Fans holding tickets to Saturday's rain out can redeem them at the RiverDogs box office for any of the club's remaining 26 home games. Tickets for Sunday's doubleheader will be honored for both contests. Gates are set to open at 1:00 p.m.

The remaining RiverDogs Digi-Camo hats will be given to fans as they enter the gates at 1:00 p.m., courtesy of *SAIC*.

Fans will be able to watch the RiverDogs don their Digi-Camo jerseys on Thursday, September 1, at 7:05 p.m. Spectators will then have a chance to secure one of the game-worn jerseys by participating in a silent auction during the game, and a live auction afterwards. All proceeds will go toward the Charleston V.A. Hospital.

Women in Defense Night, originally slated for Saturday's rain out, will be rescheduled for a date to be determined later in the season.

UP NEXT: Sunday is a day to wind down before the start of another grinding work week, and there's no better place to do that than at The Joe. It's also another *CCPRC Family Sunday*, meaning one can save money and "Be Your Own Fan" by taking advantage of our regular FREE PARKING and KIDS EAT FREE Sundays, presented by Pepsi. As always, the Yankees of tomorrow will stick around on the field after the game to dole out free autographs to their many admirers.
