PREVIEW: The Shorebirds hope to buck a four-game losing streak, their longest of the season, in game three against Kannapolis. The Intimidators have outscored the Shorebirds 13-3 through the first two games of the series. The Shorebirds dropped below .500 for the first time since April 8th (opening day), when they lost to Greenville.

19 IN A ROW: Kannapolis starter Terry Doyle and relievers Orlando Stantos and Garrett Johnson combined to retire 19 straight Shorebirds hitters from the third inning to the end of the game.

10 STRAIGHT SCORELESS: Reliever Nathan Moreau tossed three more scoreless innings last night to up his scoreless streak to 10 innings. Over the last 10 innings, he has allowed just four hits. Moreau has fanned 15 batters with just three walks.

15 of 16: Ty Kelly had his 15-game on base streak snapped in last night's game. He went 0-for-4. Kelly has reached in 15 of the last 16 games.

28 DAYS, 29 GAMES: Dating back to the series opener, the Shorebirds are in the midst of playing 29 games in 28 days. The Shorebirds will play a doubleheader on May 21st to make up a wash out against Hagerstown. The Shorebirds next off day is not until June 9, when the 'Birds will travel to Lexington.
