Shock home games to be aired on KAYU FOX 28

Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced today that the team has reached an agreement with KAYU FOX 28, Spokane's FOX affiliate, to televise the remainder of their 2006 home games live beginning June 3rd .

This week's game, on May 27th, will be aired on the PAX network. After that, the last four home games of the 2006 season will be broadcast on KAYU FOX 28.

Long time sports anchor Mike Boyle will provide the play-by-play coverage with former Super Bowl MVP Mark Rypien providing the color analysis.

"We're excited to bring the last half of the Shock season to KAYU FOX 28," said Jon Rand KAYU FOX 28's General Manager. "KAYU Fox 28 is the station most people tune to for the NFL season, and bringing one of the af2's number one teams to our viewers is a natural."

Shock Owner and CEO Brady Nelson is also excited about the new partnership. "We're excited to be on the highest rated network in the country," Nelson said. "More people will have the opportunity to watch our games and experience Arena Football - Shock style due to this partnership with KAYU FOX 28."

Plenty of great seats remain for this Saturday's game as the Shock host the Quad City Steamwheelers at the Spokane Arena with a 7 PM kick off.
