HEAD COACHES: JEFF JARNIGAN enters his second season as head coach of the Yard Dawgz. Last season he led the team to a 10-6 regular season record and a first round playoff appearance. Prior to taking over the head coaching duties in Oklahoma City, Coach Jarnigan served as the defensive coordinator for the Austin Wranglers (AFL) during the 2004 season. From 2001 through 2003 Coach Jarnigan was the defensive coordinator for the Bossier-Shreveport Battle Wings. Under his defense the team won two National Conference Central Division Championships and the ArenaCup in 2003.

JOHN FOURCADE took over as Battle Wings' head coach at the end of the 2005 season. He coached in 6 professional football leagues. As a player, he won an AFL Championship in Denver in 1987; and in 1999 won 2 IPFL Championships as a player and coach with the Mississippi Firedogs. Fourcade spent two seasons playing in Canada, one season in the USFL and played three seasons in the AFL. He played quarterback for the New Orleans Saints for four seasons before returning to the AFL and in 1993. In 1194 Fourcade coached the Miami Hooters. He took the af2 Florida Firecats to the ArenaCup in 2002 and was head coach of the Columbus Wardogs in 2003 and 2004.

LAST SERIES MEETING: Bossier-Shreveport's last win came against Oklahoma City during the 2005 season. The Yard Dawgz were on a 4-game winning streak before being stopped by the 2-10 Battle Wings.

DROPBACK: The Yard Dawgz won their seventh game of the season against a struggling Wildcats team. South Georgia lead late in the first-half, but Oklahoma City was able to make two quick scores with less than a minute remaining in the second-quarter. The Yard Dawgz took the lead into half-time and never looked back.

FORWARD MOTION: Oklahoma City returns home on June 3rd to take on the Rio Grande Valley Dorados. The Yard Dawgz lead the series 3-2.
