
Sharks Sign Former Jaguar

JACKSONVILLE FL- The Jacksonville Sharks continue to adjust their roster while preparing for the upcoming game against the Cleveland Gladiators. The Jacksonville Sharks welcome DB David Richardson to the roster.
In order to create space on the roster DB Bill Alford has been placed on Injured Reserve.
Richardson (6'2, 205) attended Cal Poly. During Richardson's senior season as a Mustang, he won AFCA All-America honors and started all of the team's 11 games and recorded five interceptions, two touchdowns, 50 tackles, seven pass deflections, and a sack As a junior he garnered three interceptions and 57 tackles.
After his collegiate career Richardson was signed as an Undrafted Free Agent by the Jacksonville Jaguars. Richardson played as a reserve cornerback during his first tow years. During his third year Richardson primarily played on special teams. During his Jaguar tenure Richardson appeared in 13 games and recorded seven tackles and one pass breakup.
